1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Elderly Care Connect website, mobile applications, or any other services provided by Elderly Care Connect (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms and to abide by all of the terms and conditions set forth herein.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Elderly Care Connect immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Donations

When you make a donation through our Service, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the amount you have specified. All donations are final and non-refundable, except as required by law or at our sole discretion.

We strive to ensure that 100% of designated donations go directly to supporting the elderly individuals specified, less any transaction fees charged by payment processors.

5. Organization Responsibilities

Organizations that create profiles for elderly individuals on our platform are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and truthfulness of all information provided. Organizations must have proper authorization to share information about the elderly individuals they represent.

Organizations agree to use donated funds solely for the purposes stated in the elderly individual's profile and to provide updates on the use of funds when requested.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Using the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
• Harassing, threatening, or intimidating any other users of the Service
• Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity
• Interfering with or disrupting the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Elderly Care Connect and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle the information you provide to us when you use our Service. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of information as set forth in our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elderly Care Connect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Elderly Care Connect and its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

If the revision, in our sole discretion, is material, we will notify you via email or through the Service. By continuing to access or use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
